Summer is in the full swing, and Montenegro opened its doors wide open for tourists around the globe to explore the wonders of our beautiful country. To make sure you don’t miss anything worth seeing, we prepared the  list of great events taking place this July on the coastline. 

Kotor

KotorArt 30th  June – 14th August

KotorArt is one of the traditionally organized international festivals, that promote classical music, theatre and art throughout the entire month of July. This year, all visitors will be able to enjoy the varied musical performances with Stefan Milenkovich, Nemanja Radulović, Matija Dedić, Gabi Novak, Bisera Veletanlić, Vasil Hadžimanov, Roman Simovic, Miloš Karadaglic and many more!

Kotor Festival of Theatre for Children 1st -14th  July

It’s never too early to start teaching your children how to take responsibility. That’s why producers of Festival of Theatre for Children on the opening evening of the Festival symbolically hand over the keys to the gates of the Old Town of Kotor to the children, who run different theatre programmes and prepare grandiose installations across the town squares and truly manage and take part in everyday events and transform Kotor into the town for kids during the first half of July..

International Fashion Show 23rd -25th  July

This year International Fashion Show will celebrate 20 years tradition on Kotor scene. Some of the most famous fashion designers presented their models in Kotor, such as Claude Montana, Keith Varty, Alan Cleaver, Dolce and Gabbana, Christian Lacroix, Valentino, Jean Paul Gaultier…

Tivat

Purgatorije 22nd  June – 31st  August

One of the traditional theatre festival, which expanded over the years, and now toffers a vibrant and exciting cultural programme – from theatre plays, to book presentations and art exhibitions. This year they planned for a lot of interesting pieces and shows, that you just must see!

Bocce Olympics 29th  July – 10th  August

One of the oldest games that are most popular in coastal towns, especially in Tivat, where the Olympics are held every year, for more than 60 years! The right to take part have all citizens of Tivat, older than 14 years, and every year this competition is getting bigger and bigger!

Herceg Novi

Music days of Herceg Novi 10th – 20th July

One of the most prestige festivals Montenegro that promote classical music and talented musicians from around the world. This year it will be 34. consecutive year that festival is held in Herceg Novi, and each year it gets bigger international coverage.

Sergej Cetkovic concert 26th  July

One of the most famous Montenegrin singers is going to perform some of his biggest hits at old castle of Kanli Kula at 26. of July. “Pogledi u tami”, “Znaj moja si”, “Ako te nije pronasla ljubav”, are just some of his hits that audience is going to have a chance to hear live!

Budva

Sea Dance festival 13th – 15th July

John Newman, Sean Paul, Fat Boy Slim, Mahmut Orhan are just some of the artists that are coming on this year’s Sea Dance festival! Organized on a beautiful Jaz beach, it guaranties a good time with great music!
