Celebrity chef Nobu Matsuhisa has brought a taste of Japan to Montenegro

We are delighted to report that as of the 19th   June, Montenegro is now home to the world-renowned Japanese restaurant Nobu.

The famed Japanese restaurant chain co-founded by Robert De Niro can be found perched atop a rocky precipice, known as Queen’s Chair and offers breath-taking views of the Bay of Budva and is a welcome addition to the Montenegrin food scene.

Surrounded by exotic forests, a paradise of pink sand beaches, magnificent mountains, and striking views overlooking the Adriatic Sea, the restaurants outdoor terrace and breath-taking setting make it the perfect destination for a romantic date, evening drinks or even a post-work meal.

Over the years the iconic restaurant has only increased in popularity, which is undoubtedly the reason behind it being chosen to be the first branded restaurant to open here in Montenegro.

The opening of Nobu in Montenegro gives the country the official ‘Nobu Seal of Approval’, a well-deserved and highly acclaimed title, that shows, as Queen of Pop, Madonna once put it, “how much fun a city is going to be.”

The new addition to Montenegro’s food scene, which is headed up by Chef Frank Gorriceta, who has worked in numerous Nobu’s across the world, will boast the signature Nobu dishes that blend traditional Japanese cuisine with South American influences to offer guests an extraordinary dining experience.

The menu is sure to leave visitors spoilt for choice; we would highly recommend the Black Cod Miso, Yellowtail Jalapeno and New-Style Sashimi, paired with a crisp glass of Arhonto Rose wine.
